Kampot
Sharks Fin
This area is under threat of vanishing forever. Locals eking out a living by crushing these limestone cliffs by hand to sell to local aggregate business persons will eventually destroy this wonderful pinnacle. Check this area out before it's gone. A few routes are established. Some fixed pro exists.

Cloister
This wall has lots of potential. A bolted scramble at the eastern most end provides access to the set anchors on the top of this cliff. While at Cloister cool down and enjoy the caves that are accessible along the same rock face.

Spirits Rest

NEW ROUTES!

Lois Woodward and Neil Wilkinson set new routes on 5th Jan 2012 at Kampong Trach. The area of rock is in the valley just on your left (past cactus climb) just before you get to the old pagoda, and before fish bowl. The slab where the routes are set is next to two old french graves. Therefore they suggest calling this area 'Spirits Rest'.

They each set one climb, both were approximately 15 metres high at grade 4a or 5.5. The one on the left set by Lois, called 'up from the grave' and the one on the right was set by Neil, which he calls 'Lovely Lo'.

Additional comments: the slab of rock is crag, access to the top can be gained from the steps up on the right hand side. There are many ants up the tops and a cactus half way up 'up from the grave'

Fish Bowl
Due to friendly area Monks this area is open to climbers for the time being but seek permission before ever climbing here because of it's sacredness to the area's Buddhist followers.

Caves
Not yet explored extensively but is an area of great potential. Discover the large odd looking house that is said to be the set of a movie filmed here a few years ago.
